Tara Feldman

Tara is an analyst specializing in Israel, Israel's regional relations, and the broader Middle East. She brings a practitioner's grounding in the region: three years of active-duty special forces service followed by service with the IDF's Foreign Forces Liaison Unit, coordinating with multinational forces to help maintain the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire. She holds experience advising parliamentarians on Israeli politics and regional security as Political Officer with Labour Friends of Israel, and has led UK delegations to Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

Her policy research includes co-authoring a de-radicalization memorandum on Gaza and developing post-war governance scenarios for the Gaza Strip, alongside coordinating Track II Israeli-Palestinian dialogue with civil society leaders. Tara served as intern speechwriter under Ambassador Danny Danon at Israel's Permanent Mission to the UN and currently serves as Community Manager for MENA 2050, conducting member research and outreach across a network of Middle East-focused leaders and organizations. She is a dual-degree candidate at Columbia University (Political Science) and Tel Aviv University (Middle Eastern Studies and Psychology). She is fluent in English and Hebrew.
