Michelle Sahar is a cybersecurity and AI policy strategist working at the intersection of emerging technology, national security, regulation, and market strategy. As Head of Strategy and Policy at OpenPolicy, She advises leading technology companies, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, on AI and cybersecurity governance, regulatory strategy, and engagement with U.S. policymakers, agencies, and standards bodies, including Congress, the White House, NIST, CISA, and OMB.

Michelle helps translate complex policy and technology shifts into actionable strategy, bringing the insights of innovators and security leaders across the technology ecosystem into the development of more adaptive AI and cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices—work grounded in real-world technology, market, and security needs. Earlier in her career, she worked with the Israel National Cyber Directorate and Independent Diplomat, supporting cybersecurity policy, international governance, and multilateral cyber processes, including work connected to the United Nations.

Michelle holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and is pursuing a doctorate in leadership and innovation at NYU. Fluent in Hebrew, French, and English, she is passionate about advancing practical, forward-looking technology governance that strengthens security, accelerates innovation, and supports a more trustworthy digital ecosystem.
