Arianna Friedman
Arianna Friedman holds a dual Master’s in Public Policy and International Affairs from Columbia University and the Hertie School of Governance, specializing in international conflict and disaster recovery. With experience in field research, program evaluation, and operational management, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to global development challenges.
She began her career writing urban design and economic development proposals for leading architecture and planning firms before transitioning into international development and humanitarian operations. In New York City, she has managed shelter operations for asylum seekers, overseeing teams that supported the resettlement and service needs of thousands of migrants.
Arianna leverages cross-sector experience and hands-on fieldwork to apply a systems-level perspective that helps governments and communities improve processes, strengthen resilience, and adapt to overlapping global shocks. She seeks to advance inclusive, evidence-based approaches to migration governance, disaster preparedness, and post-conflict rebuilding.
Arianna speaks English, French, and Spanish, and is based in New York City.
